The Studio

BLACK SUN AUDIO is located 30km North of Aarhus, Denmark. The town is called Ringsø, near Pindstrup, and the studio is surrounded by the beautiful nature typical of the Djursland area, which inspired no less than JRR Tolkien when he wrote The Lord of the Ring. Simply perfect to focus on your music in a peaceful, quiet, and inspiring environment.

The studio offers:

How to get there

The studio is located in a village named RINGSØ near Pindstrup. You can get there by car or the L1 tramway from Aarhus (stop at Thorsager or Ryomgård). The nearest airports are Aarhus (AAR), Billund (BLL), or Aalborg (AAL).

About me

Besides working as a producer, I'm also a musician. So believe me, I do know that feeling of sitting in the recording booth while everybody expects you to finally nail that final take of the day! Therefore I do my best to make you feel comfortable when recording at the studio, and help you get the best out of your skills.

I've been playing in various bands over the years, either as full-time member or live/session: Horned Almighty, Glorior Belli, Temple of Scorn, Gespenst, Woebegone Obscured, Sunken, Black Dementia, Dwell, Drab, and a few more.

As a live performer, I was lucky to perform on some nice stages such as Maryland Deathfest (USA), Summerbreeze (DE), Graspop festival (BE), Brutal Assault (CZ), Motocultor Festival (FR), Metal Magic Festival (DK), SPOT Metal festival (DK), Aarhus Festuge (DK), Doom Over Vienna (AT), Autumn Souls of Sofia (BG), and many more.

I also run a vinyl-focused label called Strange Aeons Records, and a merch company for bands, festivals, and companies called Støjfabrikken.
